A tour of the dashboard#

• You are signed in to the dashboard.

The dashboard is the one screen you use to run everything. It has four parts.

The stats along the top#

These numbers describe the masjid computer itself, and they update while you watch.

Card	What it tells you
CPU	How hard the computer is working.
Memory	How much of the memory is in use.
Disk	How much space is left.
Temperature	How warm the processor is, where the machine reports it.
Uptime	How long since the computer last restarted.
Apps running	How many of your apps are on.

The apps#

Every app you install appears here as a card with its name and whether it is running.

Each card gives you:

• Open — the app's own screen. It signs you in with your OpenMasjidOS login.
• Turn off and Start — stop and start the app.
• App options — the three-dot menu, with View logs, Check for update, Pin to dock and Remove.

The dock#

The dock is the row of small icons for the apps you use most. Pin to dock puts an app there. It changes nothing about the app.

The four places to go#

Along the top you have four sections.

Section	What it is for
Dashboard	This screen.
App Store	Browse and install apps.
Files	Browse the files your apps have saved.
Settings	Everything else: appearance, account, email, backups, updates.

You can name what each stats card measures, and you can find the App Store, Files and Settings without looking.

If something goes wrong

What you see	Why	What to do
The stats do not change.	The live connection to the server has dropped.	Refresh the page. If they stay still, re-run the installer and choose Repair.
The temperature card is missing.	Not every machine reports its processor temperature.	Nothing to do. It is missing information, not a fault.
An app card says it is not running.	The app was turned off, or it stopped on its own.	Click Start. If it stops again, open App options, then View logs, and paste the last lines into Discord.
