We don’t collect anything
This is a set of static files. It has no database, no backend and no way to store anything about you — so this page is short, and it is the whole truth.
What this site does and doesn’t do
No accounts, and nothing to log in to
There is no account system on this website, because there is nothing here to sign in to. We have never had a user record for you and can’t start now.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies at all — not for analytics, not for preferences, not “essential” ones. That’s also why you’ve had no cookie banner.
No analytics and no trackers
No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no session recorder, no chat widget, no embedded video that reports back. Nothing counts you.
No requests to anyone else
Every font, image and icon on this site is served from this domain. Nothing loads from a CDN or from GitHub while you read, so no other company learns that you visited.
The details
The parts worth spelling out
Cloudflare
This site is hosted on a small server and reached through a Cloudflare Tunnel, which is what puts it on the internet without opening any ports. That means Cloudflare passes your request along, and like any network provider in the middle it can see the connection — your IP address and which page you asked for — for as long as it takes to deliver it. Their handling of that is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy . We don’t receive analytics from them, and we haven’t turned any on.
Server logs
The web server keeps ordinary access logs on the machine, as web servers do. They are not analysed, not shared with anyone, and not used to build a profile of anybody. Nothing is exported off that machine.
Links that leave this site
Plenty of links here go to GitHub or to Discord. Those are other companies with their own policies, and following a link is you choosing to visit them — nothing is loaded from either one until you click.
The software itself
This page is about this website. OpenMasjidOS, and the apps that run on it, are separate: they run on your masjid’s own hardware, on your own network, and your data stays on that machine. We operate no server for them and receive nothing from them. If you want to check that rather than take our word for it, all of it is open source and you can read every line.
Changes
If any of the above stops being true, this page changes in the same commit that makes it untrue. The site’s version is in the footer of every page, and the whole history is in the repository.
